Explore group sessions, workshops, or 1:1 support to reconnect with your body, calm your nervous system, and build skills for personal and community well-being.

Built on the belief that healthy people create healthy communities, Holistic Community Healing places somatic practice at the core of collective well-being.

Somatic practices help people tune into their bodies, regulate their nervous system, and develop embodied awareness, forming the foundation for both personal and community growth.

When talking about it isn't enough.

The Body's Role in Healing

By healing through the body, people move out of survival mode and into empowered, collective action. Somatic practices help the body process trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions that talking alone cannot shift.

As the nervous system settles, clarity and choice return, creating the conditions for choices that genuinely support a person’s life. When individuals are regulated and supported, they are able to show up for one another — strengthening communities with greater connection, collaboration, and the capacity for real change.

Why

This Approach Matters

My name is CJ, and my work is shaped by years of work in community‑driven development across disaster recovery, sanitation and hygiene, community facilitation, and refugee acclimation. In every setting, I saw how the weight of trauma made it more difficult for people to participate in community life. That understanding led me to somatic practices, where I now support individuals to rebuild clarity, connection, and the capacity to engage with others in meaningful ways.

I offer individual sessions, group sessions, and workshops—held in person or virtually—designed to meet people where they are and support the nervous system in settling and feeling more at ease. As this vision evolves, I will add retreats—spaces for deeper restoration, learning, and community connection.
